New user question.
I downloaded and purchased iExplorer (for my Mac) to recover some music from an old iPod of mine.
When I ran with the 'Auto Transfer' option, it ran for a while and then a blank/white square appeared in the center portion of the program display.
What is this? Since there is nothing in the block Force Kill'ed the app.
I'm not sure what it is doing and not sure if it is safe to run again.
That window coming up is for when an Auto Transfer is finished. It’s supposed to show the total number of tracks and playlists that have been transferred, but in Mac OS 10.11, it’s sometimes just showing as a blank white window. We are currently investigating it and should have it resolved soon. It won’t affect the Auto Transfer. It’s just not showing the text and images that are supposed to be in that window. For now, I would just quit iExplorer and reopen it to get it to go away.
It’s completely safe to run another Auto Transfer, but since it already completed, there shouldn’t be any tracks or playlists left to transfer unless you saw red X’s next to your tracks. If you do see red X’s, that issue will be separate from that window displaying at the end of an Auto Transfer, so please submit a support ticket, and we’ll help get the rest of your music transferred.
